The main point is practice making the teas and paying attention.  The more familiar the process the more one can refine the outcome. 

Use fresh boiled spring water or otherwise pure water to start with.

We suggest using either a gaiwan or yixing teapots for oolong teas.

Use 6-8 grams for a 120 ml gaiwan.

You can rinse the tea if you like, however it is not necessary as our teas are both clean and fresh.

First steep can be around 30 seconds.  Then we suggest adding 20 seconds or so per infusion after that.  The more tea leaves used the less time needed for steeping.
